We combine evidence-based addiction treatment with innovative therapies for emotional and mental health to effectively address co-occurring disorders. Results demonstrate double the national average success rate for maintaining sobriety one year post-treatment, compared to traditional programs. We accept most insurance plans, and our self-pay arrangements are very affordable.
Our Programs
We offer morning and evening Intensive Outpatient Programs for Co-occurring Disorders and an innovative Stress Management for Chronic Pain program.
Co-occurring Disorders
Co-occurring disorders affect more than 10 million Americans each year and describe a condition where a person is affected by both chemical dependency and an emotional or psychiatric issue ranging from depression or bipolar disorder to PTSD or anxiety. La Paloma's Intensive Outpatient Program for Co-occurring Disorders addresses both through an integrated treatment model, which provides the best opportunity for lasting recovery.
We view our relationship as a partnership with our clients. Our treatment philosophy is based on motivational interviewing and a stages-of-change approach. Sessions include both specialty and process groups, which address everything from life skills and stress management to relapse prevention and peer support. We offer morning and evening programs to best meet your needs.
Chronic pain is a devastating illness that impacts physical, psychological and emotional well-being. Physical pain and the resulting physical limitations impair not just occupational, but also family and social functioning, depleting emotional and spiritual energy and reducing an individual's ability to control their own life. Fortunately, effective behavioral healthcare treatment can help clients regain effective functioning in their life roles.
The goals of treatment are to minimize symptoms and to maximize functional capacity in areas that are important to the client. We work with each you to create an individualized treatment plan that addresses that person's unique needs and concerns. It is the mission of the program to treat clients at the least intensive, effective level of care.
"Character is built by the obstacles and barriers we overcome in life. We all fall down occasionally. In life the point is not if we fall, because we all will, but how we get up. With each event, each crisis, comes the opportunity to learn and grow into a better and wiser individual." – Kyrstan Anderson, Director La Paloma Outpatient Services
